Hi, my name is Armando Pereira, and I am the owner of Golden Edge professional painting & handyman services. I have close to 20 years experience, starting my painting career at my grandfather’s side. I am a third generation house painter, and remember to this day watching my grandfather as he made his own paint; how times have changed! In the two decades since that memory, I have been painting houses and thus honing a skill that I love. Additionally, I have been a professional mechanic for over ten years, most recently having spent 3 ½ years building customized machines for Boeing and DuPont. I honed the trade of taking apart and putting together machines, while all along enhancing an inherent attention to detail and precision. Outside of work, I applied these skills to completing hundreds installation, repair and even remodeling projects for friends, family and even in my own home. I have installed floors, rebuilt cabinets, repaired walls, refinished decks, repaired plumbing, installed plumbing, installed windows and doors, and put in or fixed countless knobs, shelves, pictures, towel racks; you name it.
After so many years of honing these skills and completing project after project successfully, I decided to fulfill a longstanding dream of starting my own business. I am very proud of my work, and very determined to grow my business through impeccable references from very satisfied customers.
Outside of work, I have a wife and a daughter that keep me motivated and grounded. My daughter also loves to paint, but she prefers the easel to the drywall. I am also a karate instructor and demonstration team coach, having started in the martial arts at the age of 12. Now, I love coaching kids and especially watching them grow and change as a result of the discipline and hard work that Karate demands.
